Safe Haven is another movie based on the book by the same name by Nicholas Sparks. And though Sparks’ books are mainly romance this also had a bit of a thriller feel to it, with a man (David Lyons) chasing Katie (Julianne Hough). She runs to a small town and a spark ignites between her and Alex (Josh Duhamel). She befriends his two kids, Lexie (Mimi Kirkland – who’s so cute) and Josh (Noah Lomax) as well as her neighbor Jo (Cobie Smulders).
