The first thing about this is that the trailer makes it seem more of a romance story with like a triangle going on. But…not so much, a bit but the ending is just like meh, what was that.
Anyways Harry (Rahul Rai-he’s quite cute), has asked his uncle to arrange marriage him as he believes that arranged marriages lasts longer than marriages done the common way- through love. Or what seems to them as love at that time.
OK so the acting in this movie was pretty bland…and kind of bad. Though Theresa (Stefanie Estes) the kind of complication in his life, isn’t a bad actress. And Harry isn’t bad most of the times but sometimes you can tell its kind of forced out.
Also (though I didn’t want to agree with my brother on this), the putting together of the film wasn’t that great. Some parts would skip from this to that, and the continuation isn’t that flow-y. If you get what I mean, it wasn’t smooth! That’s the word. Right yea so that.
But the film does well in showing the Indian culture and that was good and I guess its different from the normal Hollywood romance movies in that this guy from another culture does things differently, and maybe that’s an eye-opener.
Well I give this a 4/10, because of the cutting and the acting.
