The Net (1995) Review

Angela Bennett (Sandra Bullock) is a software engineer who is very good with computers. However one day, she stumbles upon a disk containing highly classified information that is not for the eyes of just anyone.  She then embarks on the run of her life as she tries to escape from people who do not want her spreading the information about.

Another quite old movie. Not that old (I want to feel young =p).

Anyways this movie was quite interesting, and as with thrillers there are always scenes which make the audience clench their teeth or fidget when the bad guy is nearing. Pretty well put together, but no twist. Well can’t expect that in every movie, especially since this was made before the 21st century.

Hmm I also find it hard to believe that it is so easy to delete/alter a person’s identity. Some people just have too much power. Whether they deserved it or not, it’s still dangerous.

Back to the movie, a good story-line, had Sandra Bullock in it, had action, what more could you want?

I give this an 8/10.
