So seeing as this blog is about films, I have decided to give it a go at writing movie reviews…this might not be pretty. Here I go.
This Means War is about two CIA agents who are best friends and partners in crime. The equilibrium of their world is shattered when they both turn out to be dating the same girl. What follows are hilarious events in which they try to sabotage the other’s date.
This film was definitely better than expected as the chemistry between Tom Hardy and Chris Pine (bromance) is believable and the antics that they pull off are on another level as they have the resources of the CIA available to them. Though I like Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde) her part could have been played by just about any actress as it was more focused on the two main protagonists, but I’ll still give her credit and say that she did a good job. =]
Not many cliche points in the movie which is good, and lots of laughter which is even better! (Y)
A good movie for the weekend to relieve all the stress that has built up over the week. After all laughter is the best medicine.
For me: 4 stars out of 5
